TITLE
The Effects of Powering household or any Low Amperage devices using Acetic Acid battery.

OVERVIEW
Worldwide:
Electricity and Magnetism are the important part of the life in many parts of the world. You’re likely to use electricity every day, without even thinking about it. Electricity and Magnetism are involved. How electromagnetism changed our World? Electromagnetism has created a revolution not only in the field of engineering, but also in various other fields like medicine, space, construction etc. Electromagnetism affects our World in million ways. Whatever powered devices we use, from table clocks to microwave ovens, from useful appliances to high-technology materials, and other relevant devices in order to communicate have some of electromagnetic principle involved in their functioning. Thus it is evident that the usage of electromagnetism is wide and everywhere. Everyday more and more equipments take birth in the market due to the development in magnetism and electromagnetic studies. Few decades ago, only few places on our planet Earth had the facility to enjoy the electricity and electronic devices. But recent developments led to fast track life style and rapid competitive improvement in every field competing with every country. With the introduction of electricity and electrical devices, electronic devices, and communication equipments, it is impossible to reach any part of the World within few hours. Electricity dominates many parts of the World. Life without electricity would be almost unrecognizable to many of use.

First all we like to thank God for guiding us every time we have meetings and trials of our experiment. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all those who gave us the possibility to complete this investigatory project. Our sincere thanks to all the people who have contributed to and worked for this. Especially to our parents who are always supporting us in all we do. We also would like to give thank to our Physics Teacher, Sir Lemuel F. Valdez for encouraging, inspiring and giving pointers to improve and to finish this project. We also would like to give thanks to Ms. Shiela Mae Hisugan of First Year Planning for providing us the magnet we needed for the experiment and to Mar-Leo Trading for providing the materials that we used. And lastly we would like to give thanks to Mrs. Analyn Saturnino for the snacks that we ate every time we had our group discussion.…

The project is all about viscosity. Viscosity is a very important quality of liquids that scientists, engineers, and even doctors are frequently trying to measure and change. It is difficult, for example, to transport highly viscous crude oil through offshore pipelines, so scientists and engineers use a variety of methods to try and lower the oil 's resistance to flow through the pipelines. Likewise, in medicine, doctors try to keep blood viscosity in the correct range. If blood is "too thick," or viscous, a patient can develop blood clots. If blood is "too thin, ' ' or lacks viscosity, however, then the patient is at risk for bruising or bleeding events. Blood viscosity, like most things in medicine, has a happy medium. Volcanologists have a big interest in viscosity, too. The viscosity of molten rock or magma determines how easily a volcano will erupt, and what shape the lava flows and resulting mountains will take on. The researcher would observe that knowing the time it took to travel through the column of a liquid, the height of the column, the density of the sphere, and the density of the liquid, the researcher can then calculate the viscosity of the liquid with the viscosity equation. The researcher 's hypotheses were yes, the researcher can determine the viscosities of the liquids by using marbles. The researcher needed a graduated cylinder, ruler, pentel pen, five liquids (oil, water, hone syrup, vinegar, and soy sauce), stopwatch and five marbles. The researcher needed to get the average time, velocities, the delta 's and lastly the viscosity of the liquids by following the procedures in the methodology part of this project. The researchers results were that the dropped sphere method used was the basic way of find a liquid 's viscosity. The honey syrup…

Research is a process by which people discover or create new knowledge about the world in which they live. The Intel ISEF and Affiliated Fairs are research (data) driven. Students design research projects that provide quantitative data through experimentation followed by analysis and application of that data. Projects that are demonstrations, ‘library’ research or informational projects, ‘explanation’ models or kit building are not appropriate for research based science fairs. Questioning is probably the most important part of a scientific investigation and is often followed by an “if…then” statement. Students are encouraged to design ‘controlled’ experiments, ones that allow them to set up a standard and then change only one variable at a time to see how that variable might affect the original condition tested as the standard. Thus, questioning usually leads to experiments or observations. Good scientists, both young and old, frequently use a process to study what they see in the world. This process has been referred as the ‘Scientific Method’ or more recently as the ‘Inquiry Cycle’. The following stages listed below will help you produce a good scientific experiment: 1) Be curious, choose a limited subject, ask a question; identify or originate/define a problem. It is important that this question be a ‘testable’ question – one in which data is taken and used to find the answer. A testable question can further be identified as one in which one or more variables can be identified and tested to see the impact of that variable on the original set of conditions. The question should not merely be an ‘information’ question where the answer is obtainable through literature research. 2) Review published materials related to your problem or question. This review should also include reviewing the International Rules and Guidelines (www.societyforscience. org/isef/rulesandguidelines). This is called background…
