Science vs. Religion
OUTLINE 1. Introduction
THESIS: In this project, I will be exploring the two sides of the following arguments: the creation of man, the creation of the universe, and the existence of God. A. “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” -Einstein

2. Support Paragraph1
TOPIC SENTENCE: The creation vs. evolution debate has made many people question where we came from. A. I interviewed a college student by the name of Andrew Morden about his opinion on where mankind came from, he said:
Evidence points to evolution. I don’t believe that the earth was created 6000 years ago with Adam and Eve. I believe that the lord created us and gave us the gift of evolution so that we could survive and change ourselves for the better. It is very likely that, if there is a supernatural being, he did make a system where we can constantly improve ourselves. B. Evolution and evolution- Charles Darwin

3. Support Paragraph2
TOPIC SENTENCE: As time has progressed, we are finding more and more about our beginnings. A. God creation of the world- 7days (bible) B. When I interviewed a young college student about her views on the creation of the world, Nicole O’Donnell said, “I believe that the big bang created the universe. It created the ground, the planet. It did not create the trees and the environment. God created the light, nature, and the necessary tools for us to survive on this planet.” C. Big Bang: what is it?

4. Support Paragraph3
TOPIC SENTENCE: Religion has torn people apart, even started wars, but one thing every religion has is a God. A. In the book God: the failed hypothesis: how science shows that God does not exist by Victor Stenger, he tries to prove that all-virtuous being(s) cannot exist:
God is(by definition) a being than which no greater being can be thought.
Greatness includes the greatness of virtue.
Therefore, God is a being than which no being could be more virtuous.
But virtue

Over decades, many Americans reject the ideas of evolution and there were many arguments against the theory of human evolution. However, in order to understand how the human developed, we must look at the human evolution. For many centuries, we have been curious about our origins and our human bodies structure. How we got to be the kind of species we are today, such as the way we look; walking upright on two legs, our hands has five fingers, the size of our brain and teeth, and what makes us a unique species. Our animal ancestors have shaped our body structure in many ways, we humans have a lot in common than you might think with apes, reptiles and even fish.…

In my opinion, the world was created through the Big Bang Theory. The Big Bang theory is the prevailing cosmological model that describes the early development of the Universe. According to the Big Bang theory, the Universe was once in an extremely hot and dense state, which expanded rapidly. This rapid expansion caused the Universe to cool and resulted in its present continuously expanding state. This is how the world came to be the way it is today. Another common question is how did humans come to be on earth?…

In fact McCloskey places the bar even lower by referring to the “proofs of” rather than “arguments for” God’s existence, thereby overstating the Theist’s claim. With respect to the “proofs” for God’s existence that McCloskey attempts to deal with, namely the Cosmological and Teleological Arguments, McCloskey offers trivial objections that are easily answered. With respect to arguments for God’s non-existence, McCloskey offers the logical form of the problem of evil which, while rich in rhetoric, does not contain enough logic to necessitate its title. McCloskey ends his article with a pragmatic justification of Atheist, stating that Atheism is more comforting that Theism; a point that is stark in its irrelevance.…
