(EPA, 2006) Dursban is a harmful pesticide that is the number one ingredient in RAID. With the EPA’s decision on the future of the third most commonly used and commercially applied pesticide, chlorpryrifos (DursbanTM), vicitims have expressed concern that the agency will not fully stop public exposure and will continue to compromise the public’s health. (Feldman, 2000) In the last sixe years it has been taken off of shelves, and a very strict control was put into action. Farmers can still use it on crops to kill insects and golf courses may use it on the greens, but only with the permission and a certified document from the EPA.
