Sections in the Anti-Abortion Act
S.B. ___________

IN THE SENATE

Senator David Ho introduced the following bill which was referred to the committee on ______________________________________________.

Anti-Abortion Act

Section One:

This bill will make abortion illegal in the United States.

Section Two:

The Congress hereby finds and declares that Abortion is considered to be unconstitutional according to the 14th Amendment. The 14th Amendment states that everyone in the United States is granted all legal protections already granted to citizens.1 Aborting the fetus is murdering a citizen of the United States. These rights extend to anyone within the boundaries of United States. The unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed. The United States in law should support for a human life amendment to the Constitution, and endorse legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment 's protections apply to unborn children. The United States shall also oppose the use of public revenues for abortion and will eliminate funding for organizations which advocate or support abortion. Abortion effectively violates an unborn baby’s 14th Amendment rights to life, liberty, and property, as well as due process and equal protection.

Abortion is murder as referring to unborn babies as "fetus," "embryo," or "zygote," may be scientifically correct, but does not change the fact that these are human beings. Though called "parasite," "blob," or "tissue," give each fetus about 266 days after conception and see what emerges from his mother 's womb. A baby’s nerves are in place after 6-8 weeks after conception. The chemicals necessary to send messages over nerve pathways to the brain are present by 12 weeks.2 Abortion clinics have lied as many abortionists have admitted that abortion is murder. Former abortion clinic worker Kathy Sparks has stated that “We lied... We would say it is not a baby yet and that it is just tissue, like a clot...”3 M.D. Benjamin Kalish

Personally, I think that any form of abortion is tantamount to murder, and should never be permitted. This article only brings to my attention that women who wish to have abortions are only concerned for themselves, as the argument is based upon the health of the woman. Although the author’s argument may be valid concerning some facets of the issue, I believe the focus of the subject should shift from the mother to the living creature inside and its right to…

The issue of abortion is one that has been at the recent forefront of many political discussions in the United States and around the world. There are people spread across both sides of the argument whose opinions vary in intensity and depend on different sources of information to back up their points of view. For the purpose of this paper, abortion will be defined as the deliberate termination of human pregnancy. It is my opinion that abortion, completed early enough in a pregnancy, is not an unethical act and should not be considered to be a decision that is immoral. My argument is based on ideas that are rooted in both utilitarian and deontological ethics as I will show throughout the essay.…

The United States has prided itself on making “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” stated in its Declaration of Independence as accessible for its citizens as possible. Recently, the country has tried both politically and socially to reduce the exclusion and discrimination of any and all groups of people from society as evidenced by topics such as gay marriage, equal pay for women and the frequently debated topic concerning the constitutionality of abortion. The Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution states, “no state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States” (US Const. Amend. XIV). Many pro-choice arguments defend that the choice of abortion is a right of women…

The word “positive” is both feared and revered by women around the globe. A simple plus sign on a pregnancy test can be cause for elation or terror. Nearly half of pregnancies among American women are unintended, and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion (Finer and Henshaw 2001). Abortion, legalized in 1973 by the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, is defined by the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law as the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus. Abortion is an inhumane, immoral way of avoiding parenthood. It is easy to understand how a woman with an unintended pregnancy may feel cornered, but an abortion should be on the list of alternatives never considered. Adoption provides a morally sound, healthy, means of dealing with an unwanted pregnancy while enabling a couple who, by their own means may not be able to conceive their own child, become a family.…

The number of abortions today is almost 1.5 million a year, which is about 30% of all pregnancies (McConnell). Too many women are getting abortions as a means of birth control. The Supreme Court needs to restrict abortions to women who have been raped, been victims of incest, if the child will die at a young age, or if the woman's health is in danger. By reading this paper, the reader will gain an understanding of why abortions need to be restricted. Although abortions are necessary they need to be limited.…
