Door supervision - Some of the responsibilities of a security supervisor related to door supervision would be the monitoring of entry and exit routes, possibly conducting a search ensuring it is free from suspicious items, also the checking of any kit or equipment that might be used making sure it’s clean serviceable and working in any given establishment. Incident Recording – Incidents such as visits, complaints or accidents and emergencies are just a few examples of what should be logged. It is the security supervisor’s responsibility to ensure the date, time, nature of incident, details of the incident, details of any witnesses, who was involved and what actions were took are logged, these are the minimum of details that should be logged when recording an incident. When an incident has been logged in the correct manner and the correct book, the logged incident should then be secured, protecting it from any third party who would wish to tamper with it. If the incident has been recorded possibly by CCTV then the date and time of the recording should be logged in the incident book. The security supervisor should ensure that all incident books and any equipment used to record incidents are up to date, kept in good order and are secured
