Selection and Access of Informants
In terms of the selection and access to informants, the researcher needs to gain entry in Brgy. Pinugay Baras. To do that, the researcher will inform the contact person, which is a relocatee in Brgy. Pinugay Baras, regarding the time of arrival at the relocation site to gather data. The researcher will then gain access to the informants which will be the residents of Brgy. Pinugay Baras. The adult population will be selected so that the study will be feasible to do. Since most of the research questions follow a qualitative approach, the researcher will aim to get 15 or more informants. The "more" part shall be done if the data are not yet saturated which means the informants' responses are not the same to one another. All of these selection and access are connected to the research questions in such a way that the main actors are the agents of collective action in Brgy. Pinugay Baras.

This study also has benefits which is to discover the process of collective action in relocation sites. In order to compensate for the risk of the study, a consent form will be given. The informants will be generously asked to fill up a consent form so that there is proof that they agreed to participate with the researcher's study. The consent form will be written in "taglish" so that relocatees would be able to understand what are the researcher's intentions to them. The participants of this study may not answer question(s) in which they think, or feel is/are sensitive to them. The participants may also reject some methods, such as audio recording and field notes, that the researcher may use to gather data. The details of the consent form will be on the appendix part of this
