This dedication to fitness and overall well-being resulted in improved performance on the Physical Readiness Test, zero 2M sailors required to participate in the Fitness Enhancement Program and an increase in the overall fitness level of his division. As a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor, conducted over 450 hours of martial arts instruction, which included combat fitness and belt level specific sustainment resulting in 18 Marines achieving gray belt status. In addition, Sergeant Price supervised the completion over 250 hours of instruction of the Leading Marines and Corporal’s Course Distance Education Program for 10 Marines. This Professional Military Education completion positively impacts these junior Marines and makes them eligible for promotion to the rank of Corporal once they meet the necessary time in grade requirements.
Sergeant Price dedicated over 40 hours of community service to the Great Bridge YMCA, volunteering to coach both the 3-5 year soccer and T-ball teams. Additionally, he dedicated 15 hours to numerous Toys for Tots events and coordinated the collection of over 170 toys at the Center for Surface Combat Systems Detachment
