Q: Who are the main characters in the story?
A: The main characters in the story are Violet, Klaus, Sunny, and Count Olaf (a.k.a Stehpano). The series and book revoles around these characters. Without them, there wouldn't be a story. Uncle Monty, on the other hand, is more of a side character. He may be looking after the Baudelaire children, but he is still just there to be a filler.
Q: Choose a character. Why is this character important in the story?
A: Violet Baudelaire would be my character of choice. Violet is the eldest of the Baudelaire children, and the natural leader of the group. Violet is important to the story in many ways, one being that she is the one who is ment to inherit the Baudelaire fortune when she becomes of age. She is also the one who invents things that helps her younger siblings out of trouble.
Setting
Q: Where does this story take place?
A: The book takes place at the house of Doctor Montgomery Montgomery, although it's never made clear where exactly his house is. It is said to be past Hazy Harbor and into the Town of Tedia on a stretch of road called Lousy Lane. It is said to be a very unpleasant drive to Uncle Monty's house.
Q: What is this place like?
A: Doctor Montgomery's home is very misleading. On the outside it seems scary, making the children not want to go in, but on the inside it is very pleasant. The house is a very happy place for the children. The mood of the place is very uplifting and joyous. Sadly, the mood changes when Stephano moves in. It becomes very uncomfotable.
Style
Q: What did you like about the way the author has written the story?
A: I like that the story was written differently from other books. Lemony Snicket writes with a very unique style, you might even say odd. He uses uncommon and complex words that not most people know the meaning of, but then uses Klaus or other characters to explain the meaning. Lemony also speaks to you and asks you question, making you
