The Importance of Friendships Made in Christ
Introduction
Good morning, My name is Will Moss and I’m a senior and the Student Body President at Evergreen High School, and next fall I will be attending Colorado State University and studying business.
Early Life
Birth and Family
Now, I am so blessed to be a part of the Moss family; well taken care of and well loved by my parents Scott and Beverly. Thank you mom and dad for always being there and supporting my dreams and raising me in such a wonderful community such as Evergreen.
Friends
Growing up here has afforded me some truly great friendships, friends that I know I will keep for the rest of my life. These are friends that I have had since Kindergarten and my early years in school and have thrived through high school and will no doubt continue throughout the rest of my academic career and into the foreseeable future. Not only did we grow up at school, but here at Rockland together in the faith.
Framily
Because of this, these people became more than just my friends, but more like my second family. People with whom I felt at home with, could be myself around, and help me with whatever I needed.
San Diego
Move
In 5th grade, however, my dad had a job opportunity open up for him in San Diego, not a horrible place to have to move, but a place in which I would not be surrounded by all of my friends with whom I had built these special relationships.
Friends
However, as nervous and sad as I was, it did not take long to make new friends, and a few of these friends turned into more of the kind of friends that felt more like family, and who I still keep in touch with to this day. I still remember the youth group we would go to, in which the leader would say a prayer before everyone would head out into the surf together. But of course I still missed my Evergreen friends, and when made a surprise visit it made me reminded me just
