They set up different task at the Caring Place where I volunteered. Pam who owns the place, and coordinates everything, helps women prevent them from getting abortion, supports the parents to have children. Pam had a room just for kids it was called the Kids corner toys that the mom or dad can buy using the caring place bucks. I helped Pam clean, organized her entire house. Pam has a room filled with baby clothes and the parents that had babies could picked out their clothes. Pam provided parenting classes for the parents, mentored Junior High students. The types of tasks that I was assigned at the Caring place was that I clean the bathrooms, swept the floor, clean the windows. We put the dishes away wipe down clean other dishes in the cabinet. We were moving box, toys around the kid’s corner. I windex the windows, folded babies clothes, hanged baby clothes. I Put boxes up in the attic. I vacuum the living room, waiting area for the parents. I cleared up the table which had magazines and books on it. These teachings are observed in the Caring Place help families in the right direction for the responsible parenthood. The Caring Place is where Pam helps clients with parenting classes. They provided clothes, furniture, toys for the women men and children. We were their to help fold, hang clothes, when I painted a dresser. The clothes are for their babies. My opinion ‘’ Life and dignity of the human person every human person is created in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, every person’s life and dignity must be respected and supported from conception through natural death. We believe that the measure of every institution is whether it threatens or enhances the life and dignity of the human person.’’ When a baby is still inside the mother stomach called the zygote regardless there should be no reason to annihilate a human being it is still human life. The people that do to that is wrong they are cold hearted. Several reason is why do they have an abortion clinics and why can’t the mayor of the city or the governor of the states shut it down The right thing to do is if you don’t want the baby or you cant take care of it give it up for adoption because there are a lot of loving, caring families that would love to take care of a baby.
Theme # 7 care for god creation the service met this theme because ‘’ the world that god created has been entrusted to all of us. Our stewardship

Administration in the church is an essential part of creating order, it allows the pastoral ministries, to take place. Without some organized form of administration, ministry or pastoral work, as we know it, would be very difficult to achieve. For a church to try to make a determination for or against having an active administration should only serve as a formality. For a church to function without an active administrative role in the 21st century would be quite difficult indeed. As Welch points out in Church Administration: Creating Efficiency for Effective Ministry, administration (or management of the church) is not an optional piece we can choose to include or not include, it exists whether we as church staff decide to acknowledge it or not.[1] Welch examines this in detail, from scripture, which includes 1 Corinthians 12:28 where it clearly states that “God has placed these in the church” as a necessary element of the church body.[2]…

Coming into the project I was looking forward to interviewing a veteran, at first I really wanted to interview a World War Two veteran. I thought it would be very cool to sit down and hear an untold story of a true American hero that fought in one of the most memorable, and one of my favorite wars. But as I continued to search for a World War Two veteran I couldn’t find one so I joined groups with Tyler, Jose, and Mauricio. They had then told me that we would be interviewing Tyler’s stepdad, who was currently enlisted. Of course my dream of interviewing a word war two veteran was tossed out of the window. Then I had thought about it and to hear the story of a national hero that is serving in the War on Terror currently would be pretty cool. Although I didn’t get my World War Two veteran, I was still pretty stoked about hearing our veteran’s story.…

Service learning is a valuable way for students to engage with their communities. When tasked to incorporate a service learning activity into my English class I was faced with a few difficulties. Language Arts standards are very complex and cover many different areas including: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Service learning lends itself readily to the speaking and listening areas, however, I decided that I would attempt to build a unit that enriches student learning in all four domains of the English/Language Arts curricula. The following unit, which I titled the “Changemaker Unit,” is the result of this process.…

I have worked at a summer camp in the summer of 2015 for two months. From the morning until the noon, I was a counselor for children in 5th grade to 8th grade. My mornings consisted playing a sport with the children and then arts and crafts. From the noon until the end of camp I was a one-on-one counselor for a child with Autism. I was responsible for planning out her afternoons specifically for her. I made sure she had time to play in the playground, sandbox (which she loved),…

Abortion not only hurt women and baby, but also for the society. The advanced medical equipment cannot guarantee there will not be any side effects. Although the possibility of side effects is getting smaller, it still puts women’s life at risk. Women feel pain during the procedure of abortion. Even though anesthetics avoid the pain during the procedure, it is only temporary. Women still feel pain when the effect is gone. Also, the psychological shadow is difficult to heal. The mental shadow will stay in the women’s mind for a long time. In the same way, Abortion hurt the babies. It deprived the fundamental right from them. When a fetus formed, it has its own right to live. As abortion reduces the number of available children for adoption, many infertility couple’s life becomes meaningless. They have less chance to adopt an unwanted baby. Therefore, abortion is not the best choice for…
