What us the best way to evaluate?
2. What are we learning from the evaluation?
3. How will we use the information to make our efforts more effective” (CDC, 2011)? Addtionally, it is important that we also note the six neccassary steps for conducting successful program evaluation:
1. Engage Stakeholders- Engage implementors, decision-makers and recipients early in the process. This will be imstrumental in establishing common goal and objectives for the evaluation (NWCPHP, 2017).
2. Describe the Program- In this step, the purpose of the program is discussed and the above mentioned questions are answered (NWCPHP,2017).
3. Focus Evaluation Design- This is the step where you will focus on the direction of you evaluation, what are you measuring, program outcomes or achievmennts (NWCPHP,2017).
4. Gaither Credible Evidence- In this step, you are measuring the quantity and quality of your program. This imforamtion is gathered through focus groups, surveys and observations (NWCPHP,2017).
5. Draw Conclusion- At this point, you will compare data gathered, with goals set in step one and answer the question; Are we getting better, staying the same, or getting worst
