Shoe Ad Analysis Essay
Techniques and Conventions used in the Shoe Ad.
The advertisement is attached to google classroom with the assignment.

The propaganda technique I used in my advertisement was scarcity and had a little bit of glittering generalities come in. The purpose of this advertisement was to sell a product, which were new shoes. The target audience for this advertisement is 13+.

One of the characteristics I used in the advertisement to make it convincing by saying there is a limited time offer.
Black background:It shows that Shadez shoes look casual as most teenagers like to wear neutral colors, but the geometric background shows that we are not the regular shoe that you find but were different from our features, hence our slogan “Think Different”.

It shows a little bit of everything, but not too much to give everything away.
Shadez-Black Rise- Gradient: It is in the middle, but off centered as it is the name of the shoe, and it needs to be near the shoe. This is the name of this specific shoe that we have created, so people have a name to call this shoe by. It was a gradient color as the shoes we made are gradient. It is a small size as it is not very important that it needs to stand out, but it is important enough to be their.
Long lasting,High performance.,Gradient shoes. - Gradient: It is near the shoe as they as words used to describe our shoe creating a sense to people that they want it. It is gradient because that what are shoes are going to be, hence our company name “Shadez”. It is small size because I didn’t want to take away from the main propaganda technique, scarcity. This would be considered glittering generalities.
Logo, Shadez- Think Different- Grey: It is our logo and slogan and what are shoes are based off of. It shows who owns the ad and is something people can use to find us online. It is as the bottom showing, the end to the advertisement and it is gray is to give a contrast against the dark

I agree with this statement because as I previously stated people often will buy more than just shoes of that brand, they will often buy the socks, that match as well. Also if a person buys a hoodie they will often buy a matching t-shirt or pants. These products serve different purposes and fill different needs but all can be sold with the same slogans and logos with no chance of product…

The uttermost unifying piece of this artwork is the color. The use of atmospheric perspective relies on the color palette. It heightens the ephemeral quality of light and nature because it is constantly changing. The blues and purples are subtle and encompass the majority of the canvas. The blues are minutely changed and layered against one another. Dow’s color palette is made up of only complimentary colors that strengthen the contrast and reinforce the inspiring nature of light and form. Greens and reds are prominent in the foreground and appear grid like giving each level of rock…
