“SOCIALISM versus VERSTEHEN; Karl Marx versus Max Weber”
I. INTRODUCTION
A study about society and social interactions happening between our ecosystems brought us improvement when it comes to building, maintaining or even repairing human interrelationships. That study is called Sociology. But how will Sociology flourish of there are no people who started to study about it? So let’s site two of the people who belong to the group of Sociology forerunners namely: Karl Marx, and Max Weber. How did this two made such a great and spectacular study and outcome for the field of Sociology? And what are the differences from what Marx found out during his study and Weber’s result from his observations.
II. RESEARCH BODY
Karl Marx and Max Weber are two of the three founding architects of Sociology. The two made such great impact with this field because of the major studies that they did to be able to build Sociology itself a ‘structure’.
Karl Marx was a German sociologist (also philosopher, economist, historian, journalist, and revolutionary socialist). His studies related to Sociology brought him up to develop Socialism or the Socialist Movement and also Marxism.
Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy, and a political philosophy advocating such a system, while Marxism in the other hand refers to the conduct of sociology from a Marxist perspective. Marxism itself can be recognized as both a political philosophy and a sociology, particularly to the extent it attempts to remain scientific, systematic and objective rather than purely normative and
