Should America Play the Role as a World's Policeman?
„Should the U.S. use its military and financial power to act as the world’s policeman?”

Today, America has to justify their acting like a world’s policeman, that they want to fulfill their mission to bring freedom all over the world.
This behavior offers the question, if America should use its power or if the U.S. should better behave like other nations with a certain distance towards other countries’ problems.

To consider about this question, we have to take a deeper look to the American history.
When the first settlers arrived in America they were oppressed respectively influenced by the British Empire. There were 13 colonies, which fought for their freedom.
These people were very pious religious groups who had a strong belief in earning their place in heaven, and in creating an earthly paradise, in the strong belief that God had provided them with the land to make a new beginning.
They did have high ideals, which they wanted to bring to other countries, too.
We arrive now in the last two centuries and the expansion of America.

They have been justified, that they are the good chosen people on a mission to bring happiness, liberty and equality to foreign countries, ignoring countries with different cultures and values.
I personally believe, that America should respect other rights in other societies to determine their own government.

There are some more points to consider here, like the fact that unstable regions can be havens for terrorists.
On the one hand, America put an end to these areas, but they are killing civilians on many of the missions.
Besides the cost of civilian lives, the war charges the live of American soldiers, too.
The defenders would argue, that living with oppression and a constant state of terror throughout an entire population is worse than risk of a few death. Thus leads inevitably, that Nations cannot grow and develop with constant threat of warlords and terrorists.
At this point, America planted the grounding

Sapolsky et al, mention that, since the Cold War, United States has the same strategy to always intervene when help is a need. It just time for the Us to stop coming to aid when a country faces conflict every time. Sapolsky explains that these countries are able to fend for themselves. The more the US intervenes the more enemies we make and more danger we put US troops in.…

United States places their virtues and morals forward to the world, giving a clear righteous image of them, especially as a country that claims to know more right than wrong. Conducting more claims that America has a respectful behavior, far better than other countries or nations, but the high statistics of civilians’ death caused by the United States, and the many wars that had been involved with over the years, which resulted in more damage, only to conclude that the United States are far from perfect when it comes to behavior.…

Preceding the twentieth century, America finally made the world appear smaller. By utilizing its resources of advanced communication, transportation, and ideas, the United States became a world power (Keene, 170). This new title created conflict in and outside of America. Through this dissention, America’s role was formed by the desire to expand, obligation to help allies, and debate over entering the League of Nations. The role of the United States in the twentieth-century world should have been dominated by the hunger for power but also the desire to help those in need.…
