Should Foreign Language Learning Be Compulsory in Uzbekistan
Should foreign language learning be compulsory in Uzbekistan.
English is wide spreded all over the the world. That is why in many country it is added for curriculm as a second and foreign language. Each educational institution has it’s special curriculm that specialized for different profession. But in every where foreign languages are tought as an obligatory such as Russian and English. It is important to development of the country, because in order to be a developed country the population of that country should be educeted and bilingual people.
I strongly agree with the opinion the foreign language learning should be compulsory in Uzbekistan. But there are some jobs doesn’t require for any foreign languages such as nurses, singers, engeeners, taxi drivers.I think it is great opportunity to learn foreign language in school for all professionalists.Because there are some drugs brought from abroad and their instructions given in Engilish. If nurses knew English they would use these drugs in order.Singers also need to know english,in order to be a famous person they have to sing in different languages. There are some international competitions where the singers need to sing a song in Engilish as an” Euro Vision “.Nowadays the technology is developing day by day and engeeners need to improve their skills by the exchanging experience with the foreig ners.Because in the Europe technology is developed more than in Uzbekistan. There are so many taxi drivers they come ecross with different kind of people;old, young, male, femaleeven with the foreigners during their working day.Taxi drivers need to know Engilish to communicate with foreigners.
In my opinion if all uzbek people become bilingual would be good for development of Uzbekistan. In order to achieve for bilingualism foreign language learning should be compulsory in Uzbekistan.Because everyone wants to go abroad to study, to travel,to work, to earn money .If students go to the abroad and learn their experience would

I can understand both the pros and cons to bilingual education; however, I am more influenced by the negative points, due to the fact that nations are lacking resources for instruction. If the resources provided are inappropriate or lacking credentials, the students will ultimately be affected. The benefits of learning a foreign language go beyond learning a different culture or being able to communicate with people of different backgrounds. It is essential that Americans speak languages other than English in order to compete internationally, keep the country safe, and prepare children to be world citizens. Several language organizations, educators, and policy makers have recommended the introduction of a second language at the elementary school level as a way of assuring a high level of language proficiency (Pufahl and Rhodes 273).…

A survey done by the Center for Applied Linguistics in 2008 found that "The findings indicate a serious disconnect between the national call to educate world citizens with high-level language skills and the current state of foreign language instruction in schools across the country"(Cal:Research). This is concerning as all of the competition for the U.S. is gaining a step and we 're doing nothing . If the U.S. expects to continue to be competitive in the global market we need to have bilingual citizens. In order to ensure this, we must require a foreign language be learned in high school.…

After interviewing Suma, I got a better understanding on other peoples views on ELL students. Suma is my age and knows four other languages. She is not the only person out there that is bilingual. The U.S. Had a huge development in the number of English Language Learners at the beginning of the 21st century and increased the need in most public schools that provided special language instruction. I believe that it is very important. Like Suma said during my interview, “language equals deep understanding”, and the more time you put towards a specific language, the more you learn and the better you understand.…

Many people seem to forget that the purpose of schooling is to “educate students so that they have choices when they graduate” (Bilingual Education Is Necessary). By allowing students the option to learn another language, they are broadening the students choices for their future occupations. Furthermore by adding language classes, the school will also benefit from the enriched staff resources. Teachers teaching other languages will “bring added knowledge and teaching and managing strategies” (Bilingual Education Is Necessary) which will help multicultural schools. Not only will these teachers assist the school, they will be able to connect with certain students more than other teachers. Along with the assistance, these bilingual teachers will bring an understanding and acceptance of other cultures. By both learning another language and appreciating its unique culture, the global economy has the possibility to prosper due to the knowledge of language and culture being “a pillar of economic achievement” (Bilingual Education Should Be Increasing but It Is Declining). With the global economy prospering from a labor force that does business in many different languages, being bilingual should be sought after…

I agreed the author reason. In my own opinion, nowadays, there is really lack of teachers in school. If government really conducts bilingual education, the teachers in school may feel stress where they need to teach same subject in two different languages. So that, government should be provide training to teacher who teach two languages in the same subject. The teachers also may have the problem in teaching the student. The teachers may have to spend more time to explain to the student and communicate with…
