Why is a professional athlete able to get away with certain crimes that a normal everyday person couldn't get away with? There isn't a good enough answer to that question today. Some judges and law enforcement seem to look passed the wrong doing of a professional athlete because of their social status or importance to the league or association. Obviously this is unjust, athletes can't get away with what whatever they want just because of the status they hold.
