Should Public School Students Be Required to Wear Uniforms?
Should public school students be required to wear uniforms?

Uniform as the name suggests are clothes which make individuals look alike ,uniform , equal .When i hear the 'uniform' at once,it horrifies me as a symbol that will curtail my freedom if i think thoughtfully, uniforms in public schools would more likely be a boon rather than a bane . If public schools have uniforms it would considerately reduce the prevailing disparagement and bullying of students on basis of apparel . There would be no bias because all students would look equal. It would increase the affinity among the students to a great extent .The envy among students would reduce as they would no longer eye each other .The race to wear the best apparel would come to an end. For example,at a public school if a teen is wearing $150 sneakers, it creates a complex among other students and they also try to dress up the same way and start comparing themselves with that boy. If the other individual comparing himself with that boy is not financially capable as that boy, he gets stressed and depressed.
As the importance of apparel would reduce there is ought to be a consequent emphasis on attention towards studies in classes. the students would shift their focus from 'dressing best' to academically best' . For instance ,if public schools have then the amount of time an individual spends on dressing up each morning could be productively used for studying, doing classwork and homework and concentrating in class.
When all students in a particular public school are dressed in uniforms a disciplinary environment prevails therein. The students appear more studious ,more disciplined.
As a student,i can also predict what views most students especially teenagers have regarding uniforms . It steals the freedom ,the liberty of the students .moreover some students may also find the uniforms uncomfortable. Also, certain students not from very rich families may find the uniforms slightly expensive.
As we know every

Throughout the years, there has been much debate with schools across the country on whether or not students should be allowed to wear uniforms. Through past experience with this argument, it’s safe to say that wearing a uniform is not a bad thing at all. Why? For one, uniforms stop other students from being judged on how they look, two, they save families money and students will not pressure their parents into buying clothes some families can’t afford, and lastly uniforms increase safety and security. So I do strongly agree that students should be able to wear uniforms.…

Uniforms would be great in any school. Uniforms have been around in America since the late 1800's. They must be a good thing if they are still here today. First of all, uniforms create an atmosphere of equality at school. When worn by all students, uniforms reduce the gap between the rich and the poor and therefore, promote equality. Moreover, in the absence of uniforms, the wealthier students tend to look down and shun the poorer students as it gives them a chance to flaunt their wealth. For instance, other students mock at a student who does not keep up with the latest fashion, because he/she cannot afford it. However, introduction of uniforms gets rid of this problem because all the students wear the same clothes to school and no one has a reason to mock at the poorer students. Consequently, equality and freedom are established in the schools. Reduction in economic differences, as a result of wearing uniforms, creates an environment of equality at high schools.…

A school uniform is a specific design for clothing designated to be worn while attending academic classes at a school. The school context comprises grades one through twelve of public and private schools in the United States. Different schools and different grades within schools may have different uniforms, as determined by parents and school administration. In today’s society all public schools should require student uniform. These generations of school kids are more worried about how your hair looks, what name brand clothes you have on, and also what kind of shoes are on your feet. These kids are worried about all the wrong things. Instead of worrying about their peer’s attire they should be into their books. Worrying about all the wrong things can be distracting. When ones focus is on something other than what’s important can cause sidetracking. "We are under no illusions that it's a silver bullet that is going to make kids smarter," school board President Pedro A. Ramos said last week. "We do think it will improve school climate. It removes a lot of anxiety and stress from lives of our students and parents," (Johnston). To understand why this is an issue, let us look at the problem, why the problem is significant, whom the problem affects, why others’ attempts have failed, and how I propose to solve the problem. When thinking about a uniform you think of a police officer or maybe even someone in the military, but what about uniforms in school? Today, there are more schools than ever that are considering switching to uniforms to keep things equal and professional throughout the student body, but is it fair to make restrictions to students on being able to express themselves personally? Not very many schools around the United States make their students wear uniforms. According to the U.S. Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics, during the 2013-14 school year only fifteen percent of schools required their students to wear uniforms. Some people believe that the use of uniforms will help decrease the amount of bullying and crime in schools. They also believe that by wearing uniforms, students will focus more on their school work instead of their clothes. On the other hand, I believe that the use of school uniforms limits a student's freedom to express themselves. Also, I believe school uniforms don’t help the amount of bullying, it could even make it worse if someone can’t afford a uniform. Lastly,…

Uniform helps students concentrate on studying instead of clothes. Most of the students naturally think about fashion. Some parents spoil their kids about clothes. They buy the expensive clothes or the electronic devices to encourage their kids to study hard. When they have the value clothes, they will not chat with friends about study. They are proud of themselves to have the expensive clothes on them. On the other hand, if they wear uniform at school, they do not have something to say about fashion. They will concentrate about study because everybody wears the same clothes and the same brand name. For example, if one of their friend have North Face brand, their feeling will think about it. How can I get that or I have to have it. In their age, students need to be attractively from the other people.…
