Should rap music that has filthy lyrics be censored? Introduction : Some people believe that rap music should be censored so all audiences can hear it without it containing any controversial lyrics. Others believe it should not be censored and musical artists should be able to speak, sing, rap, or rhyme freely without anyone censoring them.
Thesis statement I think it should be censored because censoring rap music that has filthy lyrics is a good factor to decrease using profanity among young generation and limit the violence in society.
I. Main idea (Topic sentence): Initially uncensored rap music that many listen to is getting to the younger generation .We all know that children are our future .What happens a majority of the time when a juvenile hears a new word ,they use the new word right? Eventually most children will be using profanity .The real question is, how will our society be in ten years from now. Additionally rap music should be censored because hearing cursing in the public is disturbing. Also the fact that rap music is played on medias such as radio and television, which are free to listen to by all audiences, and there are many parents that would not wish for their kids to hear foul language. II. Main idea (Topic sentence): Most of people want to censor music, that had filthy lyrics must be censored in order to avoid a bad influence on people. A lot of songs were banned because of references to sex ,drugs, alcohol and violence. I think when people listen to that kind of music they think that it in order of things and they want fit this lifestyle. It Can also be formed unhealthy society where in the first place is always the aggress and other dirty themes . Which are often mentioned in the music.
