The uniform option would be less expensive, because some local stores have special discounts(Palka NP). Around the time school is starting back, there are a lot of stores that give discounts on school uniforms. This helps the families save money. It would save families a ton of money is schools would ban brands, labels, or insignia for school uniforms(Wilkins 19). Most kids when school comes around want to go back to school clothe shopping. Kids feel the need to buy what everybody else is wearing and sometimes that can get expensive. President Clinton addressed this problem, "If it means that teenagers will stop killing each other over designer jackets, then our public schools should be able to require their students to wear uniforms"(Wilkins 19). Having school uniforms that require a certain brand and or banning students from wearing brands would solve this problem. Some families are not wealthy enough to buy their kids new clothes or even school uniforms. Most schools(who require uniforms) provide uniforms to the families who are not as wealthy as others(Uniforms Rule”72). This helps the families who are struggling with money to afford their kids clothes for school. School uniforms would be any easy fix if one was looking to save money and if one was having money
