Unfortunately, I feel farmers shouldn’t have a say so because they are already using a lot of water which i think that’s kind of selfish because they water everyday and leave it running all night.
At least 1,300 people have lost their water in and around East Porterville (Source 2). Farmers will start drilling underground to find water once they run out. I think if someone’s house runs out of water, they will have to move but who’s going to buy a house off of them, if it doesn’t have water. Unless someone can find a way to have water in that house.
In conclusion I still feel like they should have a law about water because if not the drought will get worse by 2020 or so on. I just feel that everyone will have a better life in the future. To save water, the state will have to say only 3-5 minute showers or they will need to find others
ways.
