Erica Smiley talks a lot about how the minimum wage now is making it so that worker of big corporations have to depend on the government. Works are forced get food stamps, and welfare, because they can not make enough money to support themselves or their families. Fraser, also talks about the dependence of the workers in big corporation’s, specifically Mcdonald’s. Although he talks a little bit about the worker his main focus is on corporation itself and the bad positions that they would be put in if the minimum wage was raised. Stuart Apelbaum, another supporter of the raise of the minimum wage states that workers are not getting payed enough for the amount that they are working and that workers would work hard and feel more appreciated if the wage was raise.
