Minimum Wage Should NOT Be Raised
I believe that minimum wage shouldn’t be raised. I think that if it is raised then people are going to want more and more and they won’t be as motivated to work. I feel that people will be getting a hand out and that it is not fair to those who work their backs off. If minimum is wage is raised that it would cause a lot of problems. Yes it would be nice for those who work, but there are always those who will slack off and get paid just as much as a hard worker. When minimum wage was created it was supposed to be enough for someone to live off of. I do not believe that minimum wage should be raised to fifteen dollars an hour because if it was then everything will rise in price. The rise in the prices will occur because people are making more but then the businesses are giving away more money than they are taking in. Also I disagree because if we raise minimum wage then there are going to be many layoffs and we need more jobs already. Another reason I disagree to raising minimum wage to $10.10 an hour is that more people are going to be on welfare and things that give them money to live. Then the United States would be in even more debt than we already are in. So no I do not think that the President should raise minimum wage to $10.10 an hour.

More teenagers will be out of jobs because we have adults trying to scrounge up some money without doing the least work possible. It may not be a true statement but I honestly believe that if minimum wage is raised that it will cause more problems than good. I believe that if it is raised to $10.10 that it may not do a lot of damage now, but the people who demand more will always come back. People can’t ever get enough money and feel as if though they deserve more for

While there are many opposing arguments supporting the raise of the minimum wage, there are far more compelling reasons not to. First, if the minimum wage were to increase, it would cost more for business to operate; therefore they would let go of employees or close altogether. Those now unemployed people would have to file for unemployment or find another comparable job at a larger company, who would most likely be looking to outsource work as well. America would lose business and money that could have been kept in our…

The government should not raise the minimum wage.Nothing good can come from raising the minimum wage. And if any good comes from it will be cancelled out by all the bad. So why raise the wage? Is a minimum wage job worth fifteen an hour?…

One of the most frequent questions being asked is whether minimum wage should be raised to $15.00 per hour or not. I do feel minimum wage should be raised, but raising the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour is more than our economy can afford. Raising minimum wage to $15.00 dollars per hour would only make the cost of living increase. The prices of clothes, gas, food, etc. would sky rocket. The unemployment rate would increase, because employers would hire fewer workers, and instead more jobs would become replaced with robots.…
