Should We Stop Talking About Racism?
Should we stop talking about racism? If we stop talking about racism what will be the result? Racism is a big part of our american history, so if we stop talking about it, we would be not talking about a huge time in history. Also if just stop, it would get much worse then later on.. Racism is a part of our culture, it has been adopted long ago when slavery began.
Racism has been here for a good amount of time. Slavery began in the 1600’s when the Americans went to africa and captured the African Americans and brought them back to america. African were brought over for slavery purposes, like to pick cotton, pick scuppernong fruits, and also to plow fields.     Slavery and racism have always existed somewhat independently of one another, though one can surely be modified to serve the other. Both, concepts, however, come from a sort of cultural, or at least "classiest" arrogance. The earliest examples of slaves (pre biblical) refer to slaves drawn from within a population that requires slaves: usually indigents and criminals were taken.
