Should Zoos Be Allowed To Kill Domestic Animals Essay

How would you feel if you were a special animal that was bought or raised to be hunted and killed where you’re not supposed to be? Exotic animals are often bought from zoos and/or raised to be hunted or killed in the Texas ranches. Not only is that cruel but the animals are also caged in during the hunt, as well as the hunting lasting year around due to there being no “closed season”.
Zoos usually give up or sell their exotics to the Texas hunting ranches. “We certainly do buy zoo surplus animals.” States R.W. “Dick” Winters Jr. After these ranches purchase these exotics the animals are given a price for how big they are or how mow much they are worth to shoot. These animals have been have been raised around people knowing nothing about getting shot, so when they actually trust someone the trust gets taken away along with the animals lives. If exotic hunting were to be a thing it should at least be in Africa where the animals can run and attempt to get away from killed and/ or harmed.
