The natural horse training and classical dressage are so different but can be the same in various ways. Even though their purpose as a whole is different there is one key factor that both have in common: using communication and working together with both horse and rider.
The main difference would be the purpose and the style of the training. Classical dressage as a whole advanced from the cavalry form and training for war and became the art form of today.
