surgery, chemical, and medication. Misfit and his friends not only escaped but they killed innocent people one by one not just adults but even children.
In this case they all should be locked away in a madhouse and the same procedures that was performed on Hard Rock In “Hard Rock Returns to Prison” should be brought upon them. In my opinion, Hard Rock didn’t deserve what was done to him he was Just an angry man not once in the poem did it say he killed anyone it just said he didn’t take any mess from anyone. That’s most people right. We all have a breaking point and a level of how much crap we can tolerate. I fell the took this man character away from him because of standing up for himself. This poem made me think about why it isn’t right for them to do that to people it mentally took him somewhere else he barely knew his name after the surgery. Meanwhile, people like Misfit and friend are out doing real deal crimes that only someone who is mentally crazy will do that has no heart and sympathy would do so why should we have any sympathy for them. Instead of sending them back to jail they should send them to a physic …show more content…
ward. If you can take a man from his family and let them hear the gunshots of their husband, son, and father die you have no heart, and you take the kids and mother and do the same thing, and then kill an old lady you have the electric chair or should have permanent, irreversible, intrusive modification through surgery or chemical/medication in cases of the criminally insane.
I wouldn’t say Hard Rock was and were criminal, because he didn’t do things for revenge like in “The Cask of Amontillado” or spiteful like in “A Good man is Hard to Find” I feel like Hard Rock what, and would have got wiser with age and wouldn’t be so angry. Many will agree with the modification and many won't. Many will feel like if they are criminally insane then they should be locked up but what’s the point of being locked up when you always have a chance to get out. They will be in jail with others hurting them fighting might be even killing in there so why not help them help themselves. I Do not believe in forcible medication I feel they should agree to it or it to be sentenced to it. I mean everyone should have their rights but if your crime if too drastic to the point its concerted criminally insane you need
help.
Nonetheless, if a person action lacks humanity Not due to different ethical backgrounds; but of mental illness, I believe it is necessary for intrusive modification. As in “A Goodman is Hard to find “ Misfit started he didn’t recall his actions on why he was sent to prison. That statement shows many different signs of a mentally unstable mind. Misfit speaks as if he is an egomaniacal narcissist. He gloated when the grandmother acknowledged She noticed him from somewhere. The only thing to counteract a mental illness is another medicine in some cases intrusive modification. It’s true that we may sometimes not see what others may see in ourselves mostly the bad we may think our way is the right way. Like in Hard Rock Returns To Prison “ Hard Rocks choices were just not of the same character of others. Yet it was no different than from the thoughts of most. In Hard rocks cases, he only did what others just thought of doing but never applied their self to do so. Furthermore, There’s a difference in just being ethically and politically incorrect rather than being ill In the head. Hard Rock was ethically and immoral Incorrect to some. While some are really sick and need to be cured and forced well helped because they mind is lost.
