Similarities Between Animal Farm And Hallmark
Both the novel written by George Orwell, and the film by Hallmark make an alleogorical connection the Russain Revolution. All of the animals want animalism, and to get a start ton it they rebel by making commandments of their own. Many overthrow the owner of the farm because of how he treated them. One of the seven commandments is how all animals are equal, but some animas are more equal than others which is not fair. The most intelligent animals on the farm are the pigs because they are able to understand what is happening, and they become more protective of the farm. Napoleon who represents Stalin is the leader on the farm, and kicks Snowball off, he starts to treat the other animals on the farm like he did with Snowball. In 1917 people revolted

Old major is connected to the Russian Revolution because he plays Karl Marx/Lenin. In the novel of Animal Farm he announces the idea of animalism just like Lenin came up with the idea of communism. Old major wanted to rebel because he wanted to overthrow man, and become free. His speech is bolder, and longer to get the message across the animas on the farm. (EVDIENCE) In the film by Hallmark, he first announces the idea of animalism and then let the animals on their own. His speech is not as long and understanable, but he hopes that the pigs understand that they have to do things because he is going to die. One thing George Orwell connects to the Russian Revolution that Hallmark does not is Mr.Fredrick. Mr. Fredrick takes part of the Russain revolution as Hitler. He was a very tough, and untrustworthy. When it came to Mr. Frederick he would mess with the other side. He tried to be friendly, and get close with all the animals, but while he was doing that he was trying to get Stalin, and Mr. Pilkington to turn against Napoleon. This can relate to the Russian Revolution because Hitler became allies with Russia, and because he trained Stalin he is also on that side. In the movie, Mr. Frederick is not brought up, there was no connection to him, and the Russian Revolution. Looking back, and referring to both the novel, and the film.
