The soul of a human is neither male nor female in Hinduism. It is purely made out of light that cannot be destroyed since God created it. Death is often referred to as mahaprasthana, which means the great journey. The continuous cycle of rebirth and reincarnation is referred to as Samsara. There is also Karma in Hinduism. Karma is the law of cause and effect. If an individual performs positive deeds in their previous life, they will be have good karma rewarded to them in their next life. However, if one performs negative actions and deeds, they will receive bad consequences in their next life.
