I walked around in the institution, the walls were bare, and I saw cobwebs on the ceiling. There were 13 other children with me in the small, dark room. I heard shouting in the next room. I was shaking. I thought to myself, “ Why me? Why does everything bad happen to me?” Next thing I know, some man is pulling me into another room and starting to beat me and tell me that the reason he was beating me was because of the color of my skin. The same things happened to people living in Bangladesh. The bangladesh genocide was very harmful to humanity and life. These two genocides were very alike, but also very different. The lost generation and Bangladesh genocides are both killing thousands of people. But, the perpetrators had different organization and preparation ideas/doings. The Australian Stolen Generation was a very bad time period to be a mother or father of a mixed “Aboriginal” child. The children who were taken didn’t know if they were ever going to see their family again. Both genocides are very bad and had the same idea of taking people and physically harming people that they thought were a disgrace to their countries. But, they had different ways to make the people suffer. In the Bangladesh genocide, they wanted to make the people who supported the Awami league to suffer and feel pain so they killed 3 million people who were associated with the Awami league.
