Having a glimpse of the great art work of artists of the ancient past, it has given me a great opportunity to learn a little more about the history of our world. In this essay I would be comparing, and contrasting the sculptures being assigned. In this scenario we have two statues one is named Memi, Sabu, and the other statue is named the seated Statue of Judea.
The statue of Memi and Sabu has its origin from ancient Egypt probably Giza It seems to be the case that this statue is dated back to the Old kingdom, Dynasty, 4, ca 2575-2465. B.C. In the other hand we have our next statue which is the seated Statue of Judea, and which origins seems to be from southern Mesopotamia in this scenario the date is also crucial to get some more insight about this statue, and it seems to be the case that this statue was created, ca 2150- 2200. However having a clear picture of the thinking, and the purpose of the artist when they were creating the statues it’s a bit obscure nevertheless their clothing’s especially from the lower parts of the body it appears to offer some similar features or style in booth statue with the exception of the inscription in the clothing of the seated statue of Judea. Another similar aspect concerning the statues is what was used on the creation of such statues. It seems to be the case that they were made of stone. I am not sure about the carving techniques. However I suspect that they are
