Pharmacists must ensure that the dosage is correct for the patient and his condition. Pharmacists must check with patients to find out what other medications they are taking. Some drugs cannot be taken together because they cause negative reactions. Other times one drug may dramatically increase or decrease the effectiveness of another medication. Pharmacists review the prescription with the patients. They educate the patient on how and when to take the medication, any potential interactions with common foods, herbal remedies or over-the-counter medicines and any side effects the patient may experience. He chose the field of Pharmacy because his grandad died in a drug interaction. His advantages of working in a Pharmacy are the controlled climate and good teamwork job. He chose to work at this particular pharmacy because Walmart is the best at providing you with help. They are open from 9am-9pm monday-friday, 9am-7pm saturday, and 10am-6pm sunday.
