Ruby Bridges and Rosa Parks. Both very important characters during the Civil Rights movement. They did not like how they were being treated and neither did any other African American at the time. They and others were very important people in this time because they stood up for what was right even though, they could get hurt, beaten, killed, and hung. They both have some similar and different ways that they approached the white men and woman.

She Rosa Parks is one of the many African Americans who stood up for what was was heading back home on the bus when she noticed that every seat was taken in the black section, so she moved to the neutral section. She noticed the bus had been making lots of stops for blacks. By the time whites got on there were no more seats so they said for Rosa to move. She thought of everyone standing up to the whites and she said back “ NO”. They called the cops and some blacks started to walk away out of trouble. When the police was there she still said no even though she knew she was going to be arrested. Both are very kind people and don’t want to start trouble. Ruby was more considerate than Rosa was. Rosa thought she was right and Ruby thought they needed help. Their was still segregation in Rosa’s time but not in Ruby's time. Ruby was chosen but Rosa was approached. They Both took a stand and they both were non violent. To sum everything up, Rosa and Ruby made such a big impact that if they weren't there everything would have been different. Same with Martin Luther King jr. I think personally that they were both very kind and generous. I hope people still look up to those days and don’t make the same
