up for herself and others like her. Even though she said no to the white man who told her to move and got arrested, she did it peacefully. Martin Luther King, Jr.
and Rosa Parks are very much similar in multiple ways. The two of them both had to live around the environment of racial comments and not being accepted. Martin Luther King, Jr. was the leader of the United States civil rights movement. Than, Rosa Parks supported African American equal rights. What Rosa and Martin were very proud of were themselves and the people like them. They never gave up and always stood up for themselves. Both of them knew that they were people as well, even though they were not accepted. Fighting for equal freedom with everyone during their time periods is what makes Martin and Rosa
similar. Living with the racial and awful comments day in and day out was what the people who did not look like everyone else had to deal with, just like Rosa Parks, Jackie Robinson and Martin Luther King, Jr. During each time periods that Rosa Jackie and Martin were living in nothing changed, things only got worse. Yet each of them never gave up and never stopped standing up for themselves. Finally, after Martin did something to help African Americans, what Rosa and Jackie stood up for finally paid off.
