My mind is always all over the spectrum of things. I am able to think logically whenever there is a problem that confronts me. I am able to think of many different outcomes and possibilities very quickly while keeping myself and others in mind all at the same time. Although I am egotistical which is a normal human trait. I know when things are not about me and I understand that problems or issues are bigger than just myself. I feel that this is a talent or trait that I actually have been born with. I have always been that person that people come to for advice on things or ideas and I have even taken a psychological screen test to show that my way of thinking is extremely advanced for my age. I normally can come up with almost 5 different scenarios in my head all at the same time when given a problem in front of…
My three main strengths are working well as part as a team being a good team player, being organised and having the ability to plan ahead and having excellent research skills. I want to start my career in Fashion buying, marketing and advertising, therefore these skills will help me significantly in that career. An example of were I have had to work as part as a team was during a live project for Seen Magazine, we had to design and make a extreme garment from magazine pages in two days. My role at the start was to try and come up with different ways of manipulating the paper into different shapes and forms that we could use as a starting point to make the dress. I decided that making various sizes of paper fans would work well in order to create a extreme dress. As a team we all starting making various fans, then we all worked together to esabele the dress. I provided good listen skills for anyone in the team and voiced my own opinions effectively. Each person in the team had a significant role, therefore are planning and organizational skills allowed us to finish the dress on time and win the competition.…
For this task, I will be looking at the personal attributes you will need to be valued by an employer. These attributes will maintain a good understanding of how capable a person would be to become employed for a certain position/role. A personal attribute can be varied depending on the person and makes them unique. This helps employers evaluate how a person can cope with a certain situation and if they are ideal for a particular role.…

As a carer your role is not to do things “for” the individuals you care for but to do things “with” them. Your role is to work in partnership with the individual and support their decisions, regarding their care and support them to do as much as possible for themselves. If you provide too much care for an individual they can lose skills, not learn new skills and do not regain skills they have lost. By providing active support and encouraging the individual to participate in their daily living needs you are helping them to develop and maintain their skills for everyday life. Individuals may have an evaluation to assess their physical skills. This may be carried out by an occupational therapist who will assess how well an individual can function in daily life and participate in their environment. The OT will assess what equipment and adaptations are appropriate which might assist an individual to remain as independent as possible. Occupational therapy has been shown to be successful for the elderly population with many medical conditions and surgical recoveries. Therapists work with individuals to improve their strength and regain or maintain necessary life skills. Occupational therapists working with the geriatric community counsel families, groups in the community and local governments, to make sure that each sector is doing its part to help the elderly to maintain their independence. Occupational therapy also helps geriatric clients and patients with other activities to assist in diminishing the possibility of social isolation and its unpleasant side effects. They do this by helping elderly clients and patients continue social activities they know and encouraging them to get involved in new ones as well as showing these folks ways to continue to learn in spite their limitations. Occupational therapy also promotes mind stimulating activities. These mental gymnastics give the seniors feelings of self-worth and may help them avoid getting dementia. Encouraging…
There are five specific skills that I am both good at and like which is leadership, motivate, counsel, multitask and deal with feelings. When stating that I am good at leadership is because it’s a great way to show others a positive path to follow. To illustrate, I demonstrated leadership when I was in high school since I was president of the Health Academy. The positive leadership moves persuaded and motivated my classmates and underclassmen to follow my steps. Although being president of the health academy was very time consuming I managed to multi-task. There was a point that being a president of the Health Academy made me feel confused and had to deal with my emotions outside of the Academy. Since I did not want others to feel sorrowful…
My own strengths vary from my work to my own personal growth. I think that from an educational standpoint, my strengths are mostly work related. I tend to be able to get focused and complete my assignments thoroughly, or at the very least to the best of my ability.…

I find that my strengths include achievement motivation, school engagement, and reading for pleasure. I'm strong in these areas because I'm a naturally competitive person and find the need to compete with myself to do better then how I did before. My school engagement is because I have a natural interest and enthusiasm for learning new topics. Reading is a strength because it helps me understand people better, it allows me to look into the world and mind of someone new and get and understanding of why they are doing what they are doing. Although I hold these strengths I am most definitely not a perfect…
As I reflect on my traits it was difficult for me to select on three for strengths and weaknesses. My three strongest traits are caring about others, effective communicator, and teaching and learning. These traits are important to have in the education field especially in early childhood. The personal skills I have are being responsible, honesty and respectfulness. I am responsible by being to each class and getting my homework done on time. I am honest by always telling the truth even if it means that I would get into trouble. It wouldn’t be right if I lied to someone and someone else got in trouble if they didn’t do anything. I am also respectful by not saying negative things about my class mate’s ideas and giving them a chance on what they want to say. These are my personal skills.…
