LITERATURE REVIEW
* In Pakistan the employers continue to face recruitment difficulties. Most of the reported vacancies could not be filled due to a lack of applicants with the necessary skills. However, employers do not place an emphasis on developing the skills they need ‘in-house’. (Zeeshan Shafquat,2009)
* In Pakistan hiring an employee is an easy task. A reviewing of the candidate’s papers, an interview, consulting a few references and following the philosophy of first impression is the last impression. Every employee tries to present himself in the best possible manners which often deceive employers. (Zeeshan Shafquat,2009)
* Employers say they are impressed by job candidates who have excellent communication skills, good grooming habits, and relevant work experience. Employers say they want trustworthy new hires that can move right in, get along with their co-workers, and get the job done without having to be babied at each step ( Randall S. Hansen, Ph.D., and Katharine Hansen, Ph.D.)
* HR firms in Pakistan do not consider checking social networking profiles of job seekers to make sure they are recruiting
