We are all familiar with Skittles. Miniscule, yet delicious, most of us would like nothing more than to pop a couple Skittles into our mouths. Remarkably, Skittles and Tootsie Pops are largely alike. Both candies use the same ingredients. They share a handful of ingredients. When the annual competition comes to see which twelve year old can make the best candy, Logan enters along with 31 other kids but only three others practice at Life is Sweet. Daisy, Miles, and Philip all come eager to make candy, but each is hiding a secret. Which one will become the supreme candymaker? The thematic statement I chose was “It is better to try something and fail than to never have tried at all.” My evidence is that Logan made a delicious candy, but it didn’t do what he wanted. He didn’t win, but he knew that his dad was proud of him because he tried, and he was proud of himself.…

He who puts the team before himself at any given moment, at any time, on any given day, is a characteristic of a quality teammate. A teammate should possess many qualities which make him have a better connection and a better bond with the team. Every team has leaders and followers, as well as hard workers and the non-workers.
