Slave Monologue
The spoon was getting hot on my hand from the heat rising off the spoon. I got the arm band and tied it as hard as I could in my arm. I waited about 2 minutes until my arm was completely numb I prepared the shot ready for injection. I pressed the needle deep into my skin finding the vein, and injected it. The feel was pure euphoria it felt it amazing, finally revealing me of my stress and pain.

I had to hurry up and feed my slave, I took a rabbit I found hunting the other day and fed it to the psychotic man beast. He was 7 feet tall and walked on all fours a very disfigured face and ripped muscles. He completely devoured the rabbit when I threw it to him.

I knew I needed to be at work in 5 minutes so I got in my car and took the allies to the school building. I pulled into the parking lot and went on into the building and down to my

Except my slave, I took out my .357 and walked over to the beast. He saw my idea and broke through the barrier I set up. he leaped on me and we struggled. He bit my neck, the pain was excruciating, I reached for the pistol and overpowered the creature. I was on top of him and I asked him, “Why would you do this creature, why can’t you let your master feed?” The beast never really has said anything before but he muttered out these words, “You took me from my family, and friends. You excluded me from the public. And experimented on me, and you turned me into psychosocial monster. KIll me and eat my flesh and the consequences will be severe.” I shot him in the forehead and consumed his huge carcass. It only lasted for 2 days.

At some point I had to go make a food trip which was a problem I couldn’t leave the house since I took out all the doors and everything and boarded up the house. I realized something the old chimney on the third floor of the house, I decided it would be the best decision so then I wouldn’t board up anything else up again

He had found the poor lab in an alleyway with bruises up and down its body. But it had love in its eyes, he thought. The Pit Bull had no empathy. That was the difference between them. It had begun moving slowly at the tent. The boy quickly bit off a piece of duct tape and wrapped his dog’s wound. It would take both of them. The menacing terrier broke into a sprint with gnashing teeth. The boy had no weapons but his fists and friend. His dog braved and lunged at the beast. The boy did as well, punching, kicking, and yelling. The creature probably weighed twice what he did. His dog let out a cry, but he could not tell if it was owing to the preexisting injury or a fresh wound. He could barely see through his drenched hair and the sheets of rain. The beast, unfeeling, did not yelp when he caught its jaw with a sharp blow. It simply paused, stared at him, and backed away slowly. It seemed bewildered, but its beady eyes exhibited no signs of pain. It was…

Solomon Northup's "12 years a Slave" is based on the author's life story as a free man in the pre-civil North and was abducted and sold into slavery in the south. Northup was the son of a liberated slave, therefore making him a free man from birth. He lived and worked in Upstate New York, where he worked as a laborer and a greatly talented violin player. He was deceived into travelling with two con men to Washington D.C who wanted to sell him as a slave to the south. He was led to believe that he was going to play the fiddle at a circus but instead was drugged and sold into slavery at the Red River region in Louisiana. For 12 consequent years he served as slave to different masters. Most of his years as a slave was spent under the ownership of a slaver named Edwin Epps.…

Step by wicked step, my boots sank further and further into the thick, red-tinged land as if the devil himself were dragging my body straight into the depths of hell. The rhythmic squelching stabbed through my rubber soles, radiating pain throughout my soul as it seared everything in its path. Squelch, squelch, squish. My tempo was interrupted by those cursed boots refusing to budge from the stubborn terrain. As if taunting me, the earth unhooked my feet from the damned soil…

    Slave Ad Essay

After reviewing the three slave ads, the first one stuck out the most because of its subtlety and descriptive profiling. In the first slave ad it describes a runaway African-American slave that goes by the name of Will and the reward for his capture is 10 dollars. The time stamp of the article is 1774, a few years before the north American colonies declared independence from England. This ad was unique to the other ads in being more descriptive of the said slave than the second ad, as well as being less aggressive than the third ad. Analyzing the ad along with other information, the history around the time frame could suggest why the ad was written in a less aggressive manner on the slave’s capture, there was an increase in value…

Passed down from generation to generation, oral tradition predominates as one of the most significant sources in discovering the history of the African diaspora. Plagued by illiteracy, the tangible text of the past remains useless for both the freed man and slave, this heightens the use of spoken word to elicit the events of themselves and their ancestors. Through the American Folklore Center, the stories that George Johnson convey, take form. Interviewed in 1940, George Johnson, a former slave from Brierfield, Virginia, recalls the tales of his own enslavement as well as the stories he passed down from his father and grandfather. However, his strictly progressive rendition of his place in North American slavery, not only question the accuracy of his own life events, but the reliability of oral tradition as a whole.…
