and people say that when you go to Ljublijana it feels super small. There road’s seem to lead to the main square. To compare the size of Slovenia, the size is slightly smaller than New Jersey. Slovenia's capital is Ljublijana. (Lu-Blee-Yana) Ljublijana has many interesting places to visit as in Tivoli City Park, Cekin Mansion, Museum of Modern Art and National Museum of Slovenia. All of those places would be wonderful and very educating to visit. Languages they speak are Slovene, Italian, and Hungarian. For their currency they use Euro's. There are 2.06 million people that live in Slovenia. Slovenia kind of faces demographic issues, like ageing and low birthrate. Their population is slowing going down. Slovenia used to be a piece of the Roman Empire, and it was crushed by barbarian attacks in the late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages, later to the original course from the Pannonian plain to Italy went through present day Slovenia. In June 1991, after the presentation of multi-party delegate vote based system, Slovenia split from Yugoslavia and turned into a its own nation after a ten day war. Today it is a part of the European Union. Chieftain Franko Samo created the Slovene state. Slovenia's government is Parliamentary Republic. Parliamentary Republic is a type of republic that operates under a parliamentary system of government where the executive branch derives its legitimacy from and is accountable to the legislature. Slovenia's culture name is "Slovenian”, it is also their language.
They speak Slovene or Slovenian. Most people that speak Slovenian are from the majority of the people who live in Slovenia. Over half of Slovenia's population is Roman Catholic, although there are 38 religious groups within Slovenia. Roman Catholic's drink wine, and that leads us to wine. Wine is a very big thing in Slovenia, they have wine everywhere on the streets and in the stores. There are a lot of family wine businesses, they pass it on to the next generation. Wine is usually really expensive in Slovenia just because they have been preserving it for many years. Although you can probably get some decent wine for a good price there. Slovenia has many beautiful places to go see, and visit. You could visit their capital Ljubljana, and go see all of the museums, architecture and castles. Or you could see Zrece they have many sports arenas, churches, nature, and skiing resorts. There is so much to know about Slovenia that whoever is reading this knows more about it like where it's located, their landforms, how big their size is compared to New Jersey, their capital, places to visit, what's their language, how many people live there, their currency, their history and their culture. Even though there is way more to say about Slovenia. Slovenia has some similarities to other countries as in they have a capital, culture, languages, and so on. My experience learning about this country was enjoyable to me. It's really nice to learn new things about something that you didn't know
about.
