Also, maybe they are comparing phone with different price, like iPhone’s 12 Million Rupiah with 1 Million Rupiah Android phones. Apple’s phone owner and Android phone owner can still interact with each other with the help of apps, so they can still communicate with each other, share their photo, and many

The Android and IPhone can be two very different devices when it comes to software and performance. Android is an open source, made by google to where the phone maker can put their own twist on it, if they choose. Open source means that the software is open for change. For example, different software includes: jellybean, ice cream sandwich, honeycomb, froyo, éclair, donut, and cupcake (Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo 1). Google wanted a different name for their software and not just the standard names so they came up with desserts in alphabetical order as their software names (Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo 1). In essence, you will rarely see two different types of android with the exact same software but the same base of software powered by google (IPhone vs. Android 3). IPhone has a more unified platform; iPhone has Apples software. The software for iPhones are the same on every new iPhone that comes out. It includes the MobileMe, which allows users to sync what is on their phone to their other apple products; that way you do not have to reenter and retype information that is on your phone into your iPad (iPhone vs. Android 3). In contrast Android is made up of mostly Google based software and there is always a tie to google somewhere within the android. Whereas the iPhone has certain…

Over the last decade, electronic-based companies such as Samsung and Apple have collaborated with cellular-phone carriers, and have studied the average consumer to find endless ways to improve the cellular phone. As a result, the smart phone was born. In 2006, Apple began this revolution with their release of the iPhone. Being the first proper smart phone, many other companies attempted to mimic the unbeatable features and technology that Apple had included with the iPhone. Though many had failed in doing so, Google managed to keep up with the iPhone with their Android software. Soon enough, Google’s Android software became the dominant smart phone based software for smart phones not manufactured by Apple. Because of this, Android phones had become just as popular as iPhones. This paper will explore the similarities and differences between both Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android.…

The first initial cell phone was commonly known as the “bag phone” it had one function, make phone calls. Beginning in 2000 when the “first” touchscreen phones were introduced is when the real challenge began. Designers were challenged with taking aspects of the desktop and condensing them to fit the compact screens of mobile devices. With the introduction of mobile devices, the guidelines went from a uniform set of rules to it varying between the major operating systems; iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Windows Phone. The cause of these contrasting guidelines comes from the different target groups.
