My friends and I plan on going to the zoo around noon. In order to get to the zoo we have to take the campus shuttle to the Ballston Metro Station. When we get to the metro we will have to purchase our ticket and find what line we need to get on. Since my friend Brandy and I had the DC Metro app on our iPhone it was easy to navigate. We figured we would have to take the Silver line towards Largo Town Center and then once the shuttle stops at the Metro station we will have to hop off the …show more content…
silver line and find the red line towards Glenmont. Once we get off the metro we will need to read directions on how to get to the zoo. The zoo should be on the right side. The metro station is about three blocks away from the zoo. I thought it was great knowing that the zoo admission was free. I never knew that museums and public attractions were free in DC. When we get to the Zoo, my friends and I will decide where we want to go.
We all agreed on going to the panda exhibit. We also wanted to see the giant elephant and the monkeys. Once we are ready to leave the zoo we will find a place to stop and get dinner. There is a Chipotle and Starbucks near by so maybe my friends and I will treat ourselves there. After we finish eating we will have to get ready to go back to campus. While we are walking back to the Metro, We will have to find where the red line departs and get on that train, then we will have to get off at the metro center and get back on the silver line towards Ballston. Once we get back to the Ballston MU stop we will have to pay our exit fee and find the nearest MU shuttle to get back to campus. That concludes our trip. I hope our trip is enjoyable and we take many cute pictures of the
animals.
