Robert Cornelius Murphy is an American innovator. He is one of the two to develop a social media company Snap Inc. which today has 170 million users and its net worth is $20 billion. Bobby Murphy alongside Evan Spiegel developed snapchat in 2011. Snapchat lets user share messages, photos, and videos with unique filters which disappears with the passage of time. The website “future freshman’s” purpose was to simplify the process of admissions for fresh students. This effort however, resulted in a disappointment. Nonetheless, this set back manifested the areas where the duo lacked and rather than affecting them negatively, it left a positive aspect on them. They cultured from their flaws and mastered them, hence they retaliated by developing a master piece primarily known as Picaboo, currently known as snapchat. This recent effort also proved to be a rutted road, still they persisted and continued their hard-work. They were self-motivated and exhibited good management skills, the rudimentary features of an entrepreneur, which resulted in their success as innovators.
