There is a list of templates discussed in the report:
Packaged Software Request for Proposals (RFP) Template from Service Alberta
Request for Proposals templates formed by the Ministry of BC
Website Request for Proposals from a private company
Recommendation
After discusses the pros and cons of these templates, I have following recommendations:
Disclose more
Outline detail budget requirements
Focus on capacity and fit
Conclusion
The company should choose the packaged software templates to write RFP because the project is similar to our target project. However, we need to modify the template by eliminating some complicated terms and conditions and adding the budget estimation section in a template that is the part your manager will concern.
