Living in different countries, we always wonder if everyday life routines are the same. Some of these routines, would include education, social life, and most important of all career perspectives. Rules and procedures vary from the different business you apply to however do the different rules and procedures vary from the countries that business thrive from? The purpose of this essay is to describe the differences and similarities from the National Association of Social Workers and the International Federation of Social Workers.
The difference between the NASW and IFSW is that they have the same layout but a different format being that there are in two different areas of the world but still serve to the need of the people. NASW has four sections that consist of the Preamble, Purpose of the NASW Code of Ethics, Ethical Principles. Ethical Standards and the IFSW has five sections the Preface, Definition of Social Work, International Conventions, Principle, Social Justice, and Professional conduct. When taking a look at the NASW you see that it is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with 145,000 members. Also the NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound.
Then when you take a look at the IFSW and its main focuses are to promote social work as a profession through international cooperation, working conditions professional values, training, recognition, human rights, ethics, standards and professional values. They nationally and internationally support Social Work organizations in promoting the participation of social workers in social planning and the formulation of social policies, the acknowledgment of social work, the improvement of social work training and the values and professional standards of social work.
There are many similarities when comparing the NASW
