As a result of my behavioral issues, and in accordance with policy and procedure, I was then placed in special education programs. From the lack of proper parental nurturing and a lack of certain social skills, I was transitioned into an unstable classroom with other students with behavior problems. Instead of solving the behavioral issue from the core, I was placed in another hostile environment again in accordance with current system policies, perpetuating the cycle of negative reinforcement. As a product of the foster care system, I provide first-hand testimony to the ineffectiveness of the current system. As a result of mismanagement of behavioral issues, students that lack proper social judgment are transitioned into special education programs. These classrooms are non-conducive in promoting healthy mental wellness. To promote a righteous social welfare system, it is my belief that equal opportunity, mandated courses in child development be made available to both parents. In situations where parental rights must be revoked, the child will be placed in temporary housing facilities filled with trained personnel equipped in dealing with behavioral, developmental, and social welfare.
