Personal Statement
Teaching is a very competitive and challenging area. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is facing skilled shortages in the teaching fields. It has increasingly become a big problem in the past few years. The skilled shortage problem has pushed my government to provide more than
12,000 scholarships last year for students who are seeking international education globally.
Fortunately, I am one of them whose dream is about to come true.
I have earned my bachelor degree in English Language from King Saud University in Saudi
Arabia. I had extensive involvement and contribution in a wide range of professional seminars and workshops.
I must add to this, my low GPA doesn’t reflect my interest and knowledge in the area English and teaching, I have been forced to study and work at the same time to cover my tuition expenses and life expenses and support my youngest brother while my dad business was in financial troubles back at this time. I believe, I have made the right choice to continue my studying while my family and myself had tough time since my work experience contributed to my knowledge and taught me what responsibilities mean.

With everything I have undertaken, I have been completely dedicated to achieving excellence. My persistence along with the loving support of my wife has carried me through the toughest time in the university, will help me to do well during my overseas studying. My goal is to become a successful university English lecturer, Eventually I would like to keep working in the education field in order to pass my knowledge onto the next generation of students. I am greatly looking forward to take this next step in my career and learning journey from experienced doctors in USA.
