First, gender discrimination.
It is not right that only men are forced to go to the military. The popular bias that everybody thinks of is that women are weaker than men. This is certainly not true. Even though women are actually able to fight as well as men, why are men forced to go to the army? We are not saying that the government should force women to go to the army. We are saying that an unequal system is a system that should be abolished. Then, all human beings sho8ul7ue treated fairly and equally under the law.
Second, Quality over quantity.
If people that didn’t want to be in the military are gone, the quality of the military would rise up greatly. If the soldier’s heart is really into the thing that they are doing, they would do a much better job, just like the difference of when students are doing their homework when they are forced to, and when they do it because they want to. This better quality army requires fewer soldiers in the army, and therefore, not having the lack of soldiers. In armies, soldiers are basically trained tㄴㄴo kill people, and also, to defend themselves, they have to kill people. People that don’t have their heart in it would hesitate. Besides, almost nobody likes to kill people. The causes of this would be that a) the army force gets weaker, but more importantly, the military would only think that their army was strong, when it really wasn’t. Having a large quantity of soldiers and saying that the army is strong is just like stacking piles of paper around yourself and boasting that you are safe. Better quality of soldiers will beat larger amount of soldiers.
Third, human rights
Men have the right not to go to the army. People have a right to life, as well as the rights to education, to a fair trial, and the right to vote. Yet, if you die, people lose all these rights. We can’t vote if we die. We can’t get educated if we’re
