My first idea was to create a dashboard that was focused mainly Xeno Sales overall profit. This was a simple dashboard which was to show the user exactly how much profit or loss the Xeno Sales Company has for the year on a monthly basis. This dashboard would only have a couple of graphs that displayed the monthly profits throughout the year so the user can distinguish trends or trouble months. My second idea is a dashboard which focused on both Xeno Sales overall profit and the individual stores and their corresponding areas sales and expenditures. This is a complex dashboard which would provide the user with everything they would want to know as far as profit margins are concerned. This dashboard would consist of customizable graphs which can display the monthly sales, expenditures, the overall profit, the expected profit, and the average profit growth.…

The Cold War represents the disputes between the Soviet Union and the United States, and may be the most noteworthy political issue of the late 20th Century. The Cold War was a very political issue because it influenced foreign policies, impacted our economy, and even affected Presidential elections. The United States was worried that the Soviet Union would extend communism throughout Europe with its power and control over smaller and weaker countries. At the beginning of the Cold War the struggles between the United States and the Soviet Union were more political than military. The Soviet Union detonated its first atomic bomb on August 29, 1949 which alarmed the United States because they were not expecting the Soviet Union to have knowledge of nuclear weapons (The Cold War Museum, n.d.). Consequently, Americans were uncertain of their own safety, prompting President Truman to reexamine the United States position in the world. He required the United States to amass conventional and nuclear weapons to cease the Soviet influence from spreading around the world. The arms race began, and each side mass produced and strategically placed missiles throughout their country and their allied countries. Other events occurred during the Cold War era adding fuel to the Cold War: the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Bay of Pigs.…

Fiction films are often stigmatised by historians, as they distort the truth, causing problems when trying to use them as a source. Their wildly varying content matter, inaccuracies, and bias make them hard to use. Film does not simply suggest a worldview; it states, and we experience, its existence as truth, which is the fundamental power and danger it poses to the observer. One cannot deny, however, film’s phenomenal impact in the twentieth century, drastically changing the way we see the world and how we absorb information. In this way, film is best considered as one stage in the ongoing history of communications. As a historical medium, therefore, fiction film can be very valuable, as despite fictitious content, it still has the potential…

In 1941, the sophisticated and classical screenplay, Citizen Kane was released to the public in America. The motion picture is known to be as probably one of the world’s most famous and highly-rated films, with its remarkable scenes, and use of literary devices. Director, star, and producer of the film were all the duty of one man by the name of Orsen Welles. He stars as Charles Foster Kane, who was ripped away from his parents during childhood, then went on to live a very lavish lifestyle, but never knew what real happiness was. Throughout Citizen Kane, Welles presents the idea of the American Dream as living a rich and prosperous lifestyle, but illustrates at how unsatisfactory that this “dream” really is through the use of lighting, sound,…
1.1 Effective communication is important in developing positive relationships with children as we are role models for children and we should set a positive example, For example if we behave in a silly way in front of a child when we have asked them to behave in a sensible way, the child is more likely to be confused as to how they are supposed to act, they will find it harder to understand the boundaries of what is good behaviour. Another example if I ask a group of children to line up and walk sensibly to the dinner hall and I…
