Part 2: Listening Comprehension
This story is about a dog named sirco who was once loved by his master. After sirco became old and weak the master’s behaviors change. He didn’t care for sirco as much and eventually abandoned him in a forest. Sirco was saddened by this and just wanted to die he felt as if his life no longer had meaning. Then he met a wolf who helped sirco with a plan to get him back in the good graces of his master. Sirco promised he would return the favor to the wolf and was very grateful. Once the wolf fell upon hard time after injuring his paw he counldnt hunt because his prey was now faster than he. Sirco gave him food but his health still declined so sirco had a plan. He help the wolf into the party and hid him under a table. Sirco brought him food the wolf ate until he was full. The wolf became thirsty and wanted wine he drank it until he became drunk. He began to sing which got the people’s

attention sirco bite the wolf neck and the wolf ran away. Sirco saved the wolf’s life and the favor was returned.
