The child was playing with one of the Ipads in the classroom. I asked the child (in spanish) when he wants to do homework or a least try to complete the homework. So the child just ignored me and the child went back to his Ipad. Child decided to drink some water. The teacher try to speak to the child and try to see what the child wants to do. After several minutes he finally asked me something and I was happy to start talking to him. He asked me about the homework, it was math adding numbers. I showed him how to add by drawing sticks in a separate sheet and to count one by one. I used this particular method because it is easy and kind of fun. I also learned during this hour that teachers need a lot of help, especially in a classroom with more that 15 children. Bilingual classes are hard to follow up for the teacher, sometimes the teacher confuse and started to speak spanish to the children that did not know
