Speaking Bonobo Summary

Have you ever wanted to know what an animal is saying? Well Kanzi a 26 year old male Bonobo can understand language very well. Animals can learn and use language to say how they feel and what they want. If multiple animals learn and use language, it would make the human life quite easier.
If animals started learning and using language our lives would be much easier. Imagine if your pet could tell you when it is hungry or needs to go outside. Kanzi (a chimpanzee) knows and uses language very well. According to” Speaking Bonobo by Paul Raffaele”, it states that when Kanzi was infanthis mother was to be taught language,but that did not go well,but kanzi picked up the language.” When american psychologist sue savage rumbaugh saw that kanzi was
caching on she added a few symbols to his language keyboard.Kanzi knew very well what he was suppose to do, when he saw the new symbols he had touched the marshmallows and the fire. According to the text, the people had given Kanzi matches and marshmallows. He snapped the twigs to make a fire,lit them with the matches, and toasted the marshmallows on the stick. Although, some people believe that animals are just performing a trick, but the animals have the capability to learn and use language.
In conclusion, animals can learn and use language.Animals like kanzi would make life much easier.
